Module 4
Build your Plan
It's time to Build Your Plan. Building your own no-regrets retirement plan offers control, freedom, security, and personalized growth.
Step 1 - Capture
To effectively build your no-regrets retirement plan, it’s crucial to have a clear and comprehensive view of all the insights you’ve gathered from various assessments. The first step is to print out all the completed assessments and lay them out in front of you. This allows you to see everything in one place. This will make it easier to connect ideas and identify key themes that will guide your planning process.
Alongside your printed assessments, also print the “The 8 Attributes” worksheet. Reflect on your responses to each assessment and jot down your key insights. This is a time for brainstorming and capturing ideas that inspire you. Don’t worry about making everything neat or organized just yet. The goal is to document your thoughts and ideas so you can refer back to them later. This reflective exercise helps you identify patterns and prioritize what’s most important. By recording your insights now, you’re ensuring that the process of building your no-regrets retirement plan is grounded in clarity and purpose.

Step 2 - Reframe
Once you’ve completed the brainstorming stage, it’s time to move to the next step: organizing your thoughts. If your ideas have spilled across multiple pages, don’t worry—this is part of the process. Step 2 involves reframing those insights by attribute. Use the 8 Attributes worksheet to summarize key thoughts.
Start by reviewing the ideas you’ve written down and look for common themes or patterns. Group similar insights together. For example, you might have an idea related to financial goals. One idea about retirement location. A third about travel interests. All become a planning insight.
By reframing your ideas, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what truly matters, making it easier to take concrete steps toward building a retirement plan that reflects your unique aspirations and values.
Step 3 - Action Plan (Log)
This step is all about converging your ideas into a concrete list of actionable items. To make this process more effective, consider creating categories that separate short-term actions from long-term goals. The goal here is to give your plans clearer structure, allowing you to prioritize and focus your efforts on what matters most.
As you organize your ideas, align them with the vision you have for your no-regrets retirement. This will help turn your raw insights into a more actionable and purposeful plan. By reframing your ideas, you’ll gain clarity on what’s truly important. This makes it easier to take practical steps toward a retirement that reflects your unique aspirations and values.
Once you’ve compiled your action items, review their priority and group them into three buckets. First, actions for the next 12 months, second actions for 12-24 months, and third, those for beyond 24 months. This will ensure you’re focusing on immediate steps while keeping long-term goals in sight.

Step 4 - Plan on Page
This step focuses on synthesizing your No Regrets plan into a single, concise page. The accompanying worksheet provides guidance to help you distill your converged ideas and actions into a clear summary. This one page reflects the core of your retirement vision.
By consolidating everything onto one page, you create a focused, comprehensive snapshot of your identity, priorities, and actionable plans for the future. This document serves as a valuable, easily accessible reference to keep you aligned and motivated as you work toward achieving your ideal retirement.
Step 5 - Celebrate!
Congratulations on completing your “No Regrets” Retirement Plan! You have successfully completed all four modules and synthesized your vision and goals into a clear, concise plan. You’ve positioned yourself among an elite group of individuals who are proactively preparing for a successful retirement. With a focused plan in hand, you are not only prepared for the future but also empowered to live with intention and confidence. Well done!
