“Golf Ball Fitting 101” methodology, the key to finding the right ball is to work from the green back to the tee and to ignore the myth of matching compression to swing speed.
The following questionnaire is designed to help you find the best category of ball for your specific game.
Stop fitting by swing speed. Slower swing speeds can (and often should) play firm, high-compression balls to maximize distance.
Stick to one ball. Once you find a ball that works, play it exclusively. Changing balls every round makes it impossible to dial in your distances.
Test it on the course. Indoor monitors are great, but you need to see the full “window” of flight and how the ball reacts to the wind to be 100% sure.
